Troop 553 2024 TRIP Survey

The Universal Studios trip dates were chosen last year based on a parent survey. The plan is:

  • Sunday, June 9th: Drive to Universal Studios area hotel (Hilton is the closest hotel and has been reserved).

  • Monday, June 10th: Day 1 in Universal Studios; scouts stick together on all rides, activities, etc.

  • Tuesday, June 11th: Day 2 in Universal Studios; depending on whose families are also there, scouts are either with their family, or together, or some combination of that - TBD.

  • Wednesday, June 12th: Drive home.

At the Hilton, we currently have 2 rooms booked for the scouts + 1 room for supervising Registered Adults (2 - 3 depending).

Troop funds will pay for: Hotel accommodations as described above (3 rooms for 3 nights), 2 day park pass for each scout & possibly the RAs, and gas. We will ask parents to pay for snacks and meals; ideally each scout would just buy their own food in the park. The hotel does offer free breakfast (yay).
